Definitions

2 EthylHexanol Alcohol used to provide better heat transfer in the absorber.
ADVAGuard™ 750 This is a two-component corrosion inhibitor recommended for retrofitting chromate machines
Allowable Range This is the upper and lower limit of a test parameter
All Type This filter option is used to include all sample types (oil, LiBr, water, refrigerant, etc.).
Apply Filter Clicking this button will limit the displayed samples according to the selected type, Rec'd Before and Rec'd After.
Equipment The machine at the job site from which a fluid sample is taken.
Equipment Name A specific designation to describe the machine at the job site. The designation includes the serial number plus a text descriptor (e.g. Comp #1, south, chiller #3, etc.)
Filter An active button used to limit the number of selected query.
Fluid Type The sample matrix (i.e. Salt-Water Brine, Oil, Water, Glycol and Foreign Solids).
Foreign Solids A sample type in the form of sludge, filter debris and/or shavings.
HBr (Hydrobromic Acid) Hydrobromic acid is a chemical used to reduce the pH or alkalinity of the solution.
Job Name Name of the site where the sample is taken.
LiBr (Lithium Bromide) Fluid used in absorption chillers.
LiBr Arsenite LiBr solution used in natural gas driven absorption chiller, containing Lithium Arsenite corrosion inhibitor.
LiBr Chromate LiBr solution used in natural gas driven absorption chiller, containing Lithium Chromate corrosion inhibitor.
Lithium Molybdate LiBr solution used in natural gas driven absorption chiller, containing Lithium Molybdate corrosion inhibitor.
Lithium Nitrate LiBr solution used in natural gas driven absorption chiller, containing Lithium Nitrate corrosion inhibitor.
LiBr Refrigerant The water used as the “refrigerant” in natural gas driven absorption chillers.
LiOH (Lithium Hydroxide) Lithium Hydroxide is a chemical used to increase the pH or alkalinity of the solution.
Parameter Describes a property of a fluid that is measured and reported.
Receive Date The date the sample arrived at the laboratory. The samples are displayed in the list in the order they were received.
Serial Number The serial number of the machine from which the sample is taken.
Unit Model The model number of a machine from which a fluid sample is taken.
Units The measurement units used for each parameter in the analysis report
